Huppy Valentime's Dey!

Is it just me or did Valentine's stop becoming a huge deal after marriage? Just me? Oh, okay nevermind then.
Today has been great. I have been doing everything in the name of Valentine's day, because it makes it seem more special.
I got Atrion dressed in his Valentine outfit for the day and we headed out on a mother-son Valentine date. I took him to the mall and got him a Valentine treat.

I got a Valentine diet coke and chocolate cookie.
To his delight, we rode the escalators twice! Because it's Valentines, and why not? The carousel that I really wanted to let Atrion ride only takes cash, so instead we went to this smaller one where you can swipe your debit card. And honestly, I think he had more fun on this one anyway.

I know it doesn't seem like he is having more fun, but that's because he is pretending to be a pirate, DUH!
Little know fact about Pirates: They growl like tigers.
After the boat ride, we sauntered over to the kids area past Forever 21, past Wet Seal with their clearances, and finally, past Godiva chocolates with all the desperate men trying to get last minute presents for their wives or girlfriends or mothers. I had a good chuckle. There were lots of kids for Atrion to play with. We stayed so long (his Valentine's present from me) that we went through three waves of kids. He made three different friends. The first was a boy who jumped off the slide and pig with him.
The second was a girl who wanted him to chase her (ah, young love).

And the third was a hyper little boy who ran around with Atrion blowing raspberries. Atrion laughed hysterically every time. It was so cute.

In between the friend trades, Atrion would do a little jig.

We had lunch at the mall. Atrion had Wendy's and I had Bourbon chicken. Mmm....
Halfway through eating, Atrion started getting antsy which is not unusual. He crawled under the table and was playing with his kids meal toy. Suddenly he said "I don't have to go poop" which means he does, but that its too late. And then there was the smell. I had to get him out of there quick. I forgot diapers and wipes, and all the changing stations were full, so we booked it to the car and headed home. Poor kid.
We made it though, and I started a bath for him. A Valentine's bath. He got to play in the tub for about an hour because he loves it so much.

I went to run a quick errand and decided to pick up Breaking Dawn to watch and a few donuts for my Valentine boys. This is the best donut ever. It's called the New Orleans.

Cody cooked some amazing chinese food, but we had to wait to eat it due to a fridge problem that needed cleaned out and sanitized immediately. Now we are settled in for the night watching the movie and about to play some games. Hoorah for Valentine's Day! It's basically like every other day, only more pink.
