BEST OF: 2011 MOMENTS

It's already the 2nd of January! Woohoo! Happy New Year! I could end 2011 by saying it was the crappiest year of my entire life and I am glad to see it go....but I won't. I think there were some pretty darn good things that happened and I am excited to share them. Here it is ladies and gents...but mostly ladies probably, my Best of: 2011.

Took a trip to see Laura, Josh, and Carter and Nate was able to come too.

It was a lot of fun because I have never been on any vacation with my brother. We ate some awesome food and celebrated his birthday.

So moving across the country was a great experience, but it can also be on the bad side of my list. However, the feeling of getting out on our own and not knowing what to expect was very exhilarating and self-assuring. We now know we can live anywhere and be okay. Yeah, it's hard, but we can do it. That's a great feeling to have.

One of the funnest times I had while here was with my sister. We went to a charity event that was very expensive to get into, but had an "all you can eat" crawfish boil, soda, and some BBQ things like wings and sausage. There was a silent auction and a few door prizes that we didn't win. Oh yeah, they also had great cheesecake. Mmmm....

Memphis has some pretty great attractions. One of the best is the zoo. I have been there twice and both times was exceptional. I thought it was funny though that when we went as a family they had a Rocky Mountain exhibit complete with pine trees, bears and wolves. I guess those don't seem very exotic to an Idaho girl. It was great though. Atrion had a blast.

Cody is a BBQ fanatic, so moving to the BBQ capital of the world was a great selling point. This is one of my most favorite dates with him because of his boy-like glee upon getting his platter.

Buying our second trailer was a great experience. It is, after all, the whole reason for us moving us here. Now we are in negotiations to sell it at a gain so that's awesome. Here is a picture of our wonderful trailer:

Atrion's birthday, Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and other momentous occasions were all amazing, but I think the one holiday that stands out as our family favorite this past year is Halloween. It was just awesome. Josh decorated his van and we went around to idyllic neighborhoods where lots and lots of kids were trick or treating. The weather was nice and Atrion got lots of candy. He was a tiger and everyone loved him.

Okay 2012....Beat that.
