I'll be looking at the moon, but I'll be seeing you.

I am so in love. My heart is content and happy. I have the love of my existence. I have my forever.

Those dimples are delicious! I can remember the way my heart pounded in my chest the first time I saw him almost 7 years ago. I was 19. He was 24. He pulled up to my sister's house on a May evening. He had a car with a jolly roger air freshener. Swoon. He had a jawline beard. Double swoon. He had piercing gray eyes and a sweet-like-candy smile. My life was never the same again. I was a goner.

This picture was taken two years after we met at Shyanna's wedding. Never saw a man make pink look so manly before. Obviously, I am biased.

Last night we were able to go on a date. Just out to dinner to Ghengis Grill (which was fun and delicious and we got a coupon for half off! Squee!) and then to Barnes & Noble to peruse books. Cody had a magnificent idea that we would find three books apiece that remind us of the other person. I was partially expecting him to come back with books that had titles like "My Crazy Wife" or "Living with Hormonal Imbalance" because I feel like that most of the time. But he is sweet and would never do that even if he thinks is from time to time. Also, he would never admit to thinking it from time to time but I have to bet he does. Anyways, we each picked out our books and then looted the dessert section of the Starbucks.

We each got a triple chocolate chunk cookie warmed up and a piece of red velvet cheesecake to split. It was divine. The atmosphere, the company, the dessert. Heaven.
the books Cody picked out for me were: "Pawnee:The Greatest Town in America" book, another was a book about Artisan bread and pastry baking, and the last was this journal.

This journal is pretty epic. You basically just destroy it. I will have to find it in me to do so. I must.
Cody said he picked these out for me because of my sense of humor, my innate baking talent, and there was not really an explanation for the last one but he just knew I would love it. He was also a lot more eloquent when telling me why he chose them. He is so sweet and makes me melt.
The books I picked out for Cody were: "Geek Dad: Awesomely Geeky Projects and Activities for Dads and Kids to Share" link here, another was a book about how to make your ideas into a business like the people of Burt's Bees and Crocs did, the last was about Patience. All in all Cody won because he picked books that really were me and I picked books about things he liked to do. The patience thing was a stretch but I ran out of time because I got absorbed in all the lovely books. He has this well of patience within him that astounds me. Dealing with angry people and stuff is his forte. I snap. Anyways, this book was mostly a reminder for both of us to work on being patient with Atrion and others and to not get annoyed.
It was nice to be able to chat and hold hands and not worry about our two year old running around bothering people. He was safe at home with Laura and Carter watching shows and playing and not eating his dinner.
I love you, my Sweet! Thanks for a great date!

That sounds like such a fun date...and the fact that I could happily live at Barnes and Noble for the rest of my life might have something to do with it:)

(I do think several people actually do live there...until they close at which point they sleep on a park bench...but they come back bright and early when the doors are unlocked the next day and take up all the chairs and couches...but this is a different topic all together:)

I kind of gagged at your lovey dovey blurb...but am so happy you feel like that:) heehee. That pink wedding picture has always been one of my favorites. You both look great!

You are welcome...and thank you for letting me bombard your crafting supplies.

So I know Cody is the best thing that ever happened to you..but I must say I think Laura is a VERY strong contender. Could you please send her over here? I need her in my life.
