Car tags, Cheese dogs, and donuts.

Saturday was such a good day. This might come as a surprise to you, but I have fallen in love with Memphis again. Atrion and I have been exploring the city and enjoying all that it has to offer, and it, well...it just happened. I realized I love driving to the humongous mall where I can buy nice things for my boy (and myself), and then stopping to get delicious donuts or cupcakes at great places, and then picking up some grub from one of the billions of places that serves delicious food. All in one swoop. I don't have to go out of my way to get anywhere, because it's all HERE! Okay, you get what I am saying. I am a cheater. I am cheating on Idaho. I still love Idaho, but I can't wait forever can I? The timing is all wrong. It's not you, it's me. We can still be friends, right?

Calvin and Hobbes, getting ready to go pick up our Tennessee car tags. After we got our car tags, we decided to celebrate. Besides paying off the rest of our loan, that was the last thing we had to do to own our car. WOOT! So we headed to 5 Guys, of course!

I am so happy for Cody that there is a 5 Guys here. He wants so few material things that it makes me look like a selfish troll. I am glad he has this. Also that, my friends, is a cheese dog with mayo, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms. Delish. And a Diet Coke. Mmmm. I get it every time since I got it the first time. Also, as a plus, they use Idaho potatoes and write down the city where they are from the day they use them. One time it was Shelley, Idaho and I almost hugged the big ugly bags of potatoes just to smell the Idaho dirt.

Atrion ate his entire little cheeseburger. And bit Cody's finger on accident.

I don't usually brave the supermarkets on Saturdays but I have become addicted to Diet Coke, and so I needed some. Also, Atrion ran out of blueberries. And we needed cheese. Obviously it was necessary. And, because our good luck is returning to us once again the store was practically empty! Check out Atrion's sweet ride that he stayed in for 4.8 minutes. Nice....

On a whim, we stopped by Gibson's donuts hoping they had a good selection after the Saturday morning rush. The New Orleans donuts are exquisite. They are thick and fat and buttermilky. Sort of a salty sweet. In a good way. An addicting way. I didn't get a picture of them though.

Reader, meet blueberry stuffed donut and old fashioned glazed. You're welcome.

Casey,
Please don't think I'm a creeper since I read your blog and never comment. I love your blog, you make me laugh and even sometimes cry. I just like how you keep things real. It's nice for a change to read something real not all "my life is perfect and I love everything and everyone and I never get frustrated.... Blah blah blah" ...you get the picture I hope. Anyways, thanks for a fun, refreshing read.
